Roofing
Roofers as a subcontracted package
Pitched roofs, flat roofs and roof timberwork as a defined package with our own foreman for main contractors, construction companies and developers. Documented experience: roof renewal on residential buildings in the Netherlands. Whether we take on your roof, with what composition and when, is stated only in the written offer.
Our focus includes Luxembourg, southern Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway.
The problem we solve
The roof structure is up or the renewal is planned, but the covering is missing from the programme and the following trades are waiting for the building to be weathertight.

- Composition by roof
- Roof area, access and weather window decide the crew size, which is set for the project.
Cooperation models
Subcontract – a work package
We carry out the agreed scope with our own foreman and are responsible for our part under the contract. You set the scope and accept the completed work.
A crew for a project phase
A team led by our foreman carries out an agreed phase; responsibilities are set out in the contract.
Direct hire
We select specialists whom you employ in your own company.
Legal model by country
In Germany, Austria and the Netherlands we carry out roofing only under a contract for work (Werkvertrag, aanneming van werk), never as the provision of workers. In Germany the roofing craft (no. 4) and the carpentry craft (no. 3) are in Annex A of the Handwerksordnung and are therefore licensed crafts: a foreign company first notifies the competent chamber of crafts, and work can begin after that if the legal conditions are met. According to the Federal Employment Agency, the roofing craft is also a collective-agreement area of its own with its own social fund. These are general rules; which documents exist for your project is named in the offer.
The specific requirements depend on the type of work, the contract model and the workers' status, so we confirm them separately for each project. This information is not legal advice and does not imply automatic approval or eligibility.
Where we take enquiries
Priority markets and the regions where we actively look for projects. We also take enquiries from other European countries – the model and the documents are confirmed for each project.

How cooperation works
- 01
Enquiry
Type of work, location, trades, approximate numbers and timing – as much as you know. An e-mail address is enough.
- 02
Assessment and offer
We check feasibility and the legal model and prepare an individual written offer.
- 03
Contract and documents
We agree scope, responsibilities and accommodation. Before the project starts, we assess the applicable document and posting requirements according to the country, the project and the workers' status.
- 04
Mobilisation and work
The team arrives according to the agreed plan, and you have one contact person for the whole project.
Experience and evidence
In 2024–2025, together with local contractors in the Netherlands, we renewed tiled and reed roofs on residential buildings, including insulation, scaffolding and hoist installation and removal of solar panels. The projects page describes our roofing work in that country. We publish no project description for flat roofs or for roof timberwork alone.

01Do you also take on flat roofs?
You can request a flat roof package. We publish no project description for one; after checking the documents we confirm or decline your roof and its build-up in the written offer.
02Who provides the scaffold and fall protection?
It depends on the project and is settled before the start. If a scaffold is already up, tell us from when and for what working height. In Germany scaffolding is a craft of its own (Annex A no. 11).
03Who supplies the roofing materials?
Tiles, sheet metal, membranes and timber may come from the client or be part of the package. The offer also sets the boundary for storage and lifting to the roof.
04Can you take on the roof structure as well?
You can request it in the same package: trusses, rafters and decking up to the covering. Carpentry is a craft of its own in Germany, so we check the trade and the composition separately and confirm the result in the offer.
05Does roofing need a licence in Germany?
Yes, it is no. 4 in Annex A of the Handwerksordnung. A foreign company's notification to the chamber comes before the first provision of the service.
06How is bad weather handled in the programme?
There is no blanket rule. The contract sets out how weather stoppages are handled, how the open roof is protected and who reports what. Attach your requirements to the request.
07How does coordination with site management work, and in which language?
Your contact on site is our foreman. The foreman's name and the working language are in the offer, and instructions to the crew come only from the foreman.
08How do I send drawings or a BOQ?
Paste a link to the files in the form (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or similar), or email them after you submit, quoting your request number.
