Drywall
Drywall works as a subcontracted package
Stud partitions, wall linings, suspended ceilings and jointing, scoped by wall and ceiling area. A separate work package with our own foreman for main contractors, fit-out companies and developers. Whether we can take this package on for your project, with what crew composition and when, is confirmed in the written offer.
Our focus includes Luxembourg, southern Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway.
The problem we solve
The drywall is in the bill of quantities, but it needs one responsible party so that services, screed and painters are not left waiting for it.
Why contact us
- One contact and our own foreman
- The foreman organises the work on site and coordinates it with your site manager.
- A clear written offer
- Scope, team, programme, price and responsibilities are written down before work starts.
- We assess document requirements up front
- Before the project starts, we assess the applicable document and posting requirements according to the country, the project and the workers' status.
- Flexible capacity
- Our own workers, partner crews under contract and specialists selected for the order.
A drywall crew with a foreman: works to the bill of quantities
- 01
Partitions and wall linings
Metal studs, boarding and insulation to the drawings, scoped by wall area; door openings and reinforcements are named in the scope.
- 02
Suspended ceilings
Plasterboard and system ceilings by ceiling area and suspension height, coordinated with the services above them.
- 03
Jointing and Q level
The required surface quality is stated in the bill of quantities; it decides how joints are finished and how they are checked before the painter starts.
- 04
What we need for an offer
Drawings, quantities per wall and ceiling type, Q level, fire and acoustic requirements, floors and material transport.
- 05
Interfaces in the programme
Services in the wall before it is closed, screed, window junctions and painters: who finishes what and when goes into the programme before the start.
- 06
A result, not hours
A drywall crew with its own foreman owes a result: agreed areas, a joint measurement and acceptance per section.
Who it is for
- Main contractors that let the drywall separately
- Fit-out companies that want to give a project's drywall share to a subcontractor
- Developers of residential, hotel and office projects
- Site managers and buyers with a drywall section in the bill of quantities
How the team is formed
- Foreman and drywall installers
- The foreman allocates the crew, works from the drawings and the measurement, and coordinates the sequence with your site manager.
- Who carries it out
- The offer names whether our own workers, partner crews under contract or specialists selected for the order will carry out the package.
- Composition by quantities
- The crew size follows from areas, floors and programme; we do not name a fixed composition in advance.
Cooperation models
Subcontract – a work package
We carry out the agreed scope with our own foreman and are responsible for our part under the contract. You set the scope and accept the completed work.
A crew for a project phase
A team led by our foreman carries out an agreed phase; responsibilities are set out in the contract.
Direct hire
We select specialists whom you employ in your own company.
Legal model by country
In Germany, Austria and the Netherlands we take on drywall only as a work (Werkvertrag, aanneming van werk), not as the provision of workers. On German sites, hiring out workers into construction businesses is in principle not allowed (AÜG § 1b). Annexes A and B of the German Handwerksordnung have no entry of their own for drywall; how a specific package is classified depends on its activities and is clarified with the competent chamber of crafts. What this means for your project is stated in the offer, and requirements in other countries are checked separately.
The specific requirements depend on the type of work, the contract model and the workers' status, so we confirm them separately for each project. This information is not legal advice and does not imply automatic approval or eligibility.
Where we take enquiries
Priority markets and the regions where we actively look for projects. We also take enquiries from other European countries – the model and the documents are confirmed for each project.

How cooperation works
- 01
Enquiry
Type of work, location, trades, approximate numbers and timing – as much as you know. An e-mail address is enough.
- 02
Assessment and offer
We check feasibility and the legal model and prepare an individual written offer.
- 03
Contract and documents
We agree scope, responsibilities and accommodation. Before the project starts, we assess the applicable document and posting requirements according to the country, the project and the workers' status.
- 04
Mobilisation and work
The team arrives according to the agreed plan, and you have one contact person for the whole project.
Experience and evidence
We publish no project description for drywall alone. The projects page describes our renovation and interior finishing on residential buildings in the Netherlands, which ran without a break in 2022–2026. With the offer you learn who will work and what similar work those people have done.

Become a subcontracting partner →Frequently asked questions
01Do you take on drywall alone, without other trades?
Yes, this package is meant for exactly that, provided the interfaces with the other trades are clear. Whether it fits your project is written in the offer. If you want several finishing trades in one package, say so in the request.
02Is it billed by measurement or by the hour?
Under a contract for work the result counts, not the time: according to the German Federal Employment Agency's leaflet, pay is tied to the result and in principle not billed by units of time. How wall and ceiling areas are measured is agreed together before the start.
03Who supplies the materials?
Profiles, boards, insulation and jointing compound may come from the client or be part of the package. The boundary, including transport to the floors, is set out in the offer.
04Which Q level can we request?
For each room type, state the level from Q1 to Q4 required in the bill of quantities. We check it for the offer and write what we commit to; we make no blanket promise in advance.
05How do you handle fire and acoustic requirements?
State the fire resistance, acoustic rating and, if chosen, the system for each wall and ceiling. Work follows the specified system and the manufacturer's instructions. Whether the package includes such walls and which proofs are needed is clarified for the project and confirmed in the offer.
06Does drywall need a licence in Germany?
Annexes A and B of the Handwerksordnung do not list drywall as a craft of its own. That does not make every package automatically free: the specific activities decide, and in case of doubt this is clarified with the chamber of crafts.
07In which language does the foreman coordinate with our site management?
The offer names the foreman for your project and the language of coordination. If a particular language matters to you, say so in the request.
08How do I send drawings or a BOQ?
Paste a link to the files in the form (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or similar), or email them after you submit, quoting your request number.
