Earthworks
Earthworks, excavation and site preparation
Excavation, foundation pits, trenches, backfilling and site preparation for construction companies and contractors. Excavator operators and groundworkers – as a work package with a foreman.
The problem we solve
Foundations and utilities cannot start until the site is ready, and experienced excavator operators and groundwork crews are scarce.

- We handle the documents
- Posting documents, including the A1 application and the host country notifications, are prepared by us.

Cooperation models
Subcontract – a work package
We carry out the agreed scope with our own foreman and are responsible for our part under the contract. You set the scope and accept the completed work.
A crew for a project phase
A team led by our foreman carries out an agreed phase; responsibilities are set out in the contract.
Direct hire
We select specialists whom you employ in your own company.
Legal model by country
We offer excavator operators as an earthworks package under a contract for work with our foreman. An operator on their own, directed by the client, is not offered on German construction sites (AÜG § 1b); in other countries the model is confirmed in the offer according to that country's rules.
The specific requirements depend on the type of work, the contract model and the workers' status, so we confirm them separately for each project. This information is not legal advice and does not imply automatic approval or eligibility.
Where we take enquiries
Priority markets and the regions where we actively look for projects. We also take enquiries from other European countries – the model and the documents are confirmed for each project.

How cooperation works
- 01
Enquiry
Type of work, location, trades, approximate numbers and timing – as much as you know. An e-mail address is enough.
- 02
Assessment and offer
We check feasibility and the legal model and prepare an individual written offer.
- 03
Contract and documents
We agree scope, responsibilities and accommodation, and prepare the documents the host country requires.
- 04
Mobilisation and work
The team arrives according to the agreed plan, and you have one contact person for the whole project.
Experience and evidence
We do not publish project descriptions for this line of work. Before the offer we tell you which team will work, which machines the operators handle and what similar work they have done.

Become a subcontracting partner →Frequently asked questions
01Can you come with your own excavator?
We do not publish machine numbers. Most often the work is done with the client's or hired machinery; the specific arrangement is agreed in the offer.
02Can I order just an excavator operator?
We offer operators as part of an earthworks package with our foreman. In Germany an operator alone, without a work package, is not offered; in other countries the model is confirmed according to their rules.
03What qualifications do the operators have?
Qualification documents and experience with the specific machine are checked before the offer and provided with it.
04Do you do the earthworks before concreting?
Yes, site preparation, excavation and the follow-on reinforcement and concreting can be combined into one package.
05How do I submit an enquiry?
State the location, type of work, approximate quantities and programme in the form. Drawings can be added as a link.
06How do I send drawings or a BOQ?
Paste a link to the files in the form (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer or similar), or email them after you submit, quoting your request number.
